IN-EI
Design products drawn from Japanese aesthetics and traditional techniques
Japan has preserved many superior materials and artisans, and has cultivated a world-class sense of aesthetics. IN-EI was developed under the theme of maximizing Japan's traditional technology against the backdrop of philosophy of modern design. It includes “BETWEEN” (firefly), made with Japanese rice paper using the technology of cabinet makers; screens made with black-dyed Japanese paper named “Karasu” (scarecrow); and lacquerware.
