â– The third challengeIt was 1974 that I was hit with the idea and created a sample. I held an exhibition, but that was as far as I went with it. I searched for a company that would commercialize my idea, but I never found one.Later, in 1984, I met the vise president of Nippon Light Metal Company with whom I engaged in a heated conversation about the beauty of aluminum. This prompted me to launch the “Project to Discover and Express the Beauty of Aluminum.” I invited Mr. Shiro Kuramata and Mr. Toshiyuki Kita to join me in the project. As my name is Masayuki Kurokawa, miraculously, all three of our names start with K. We called ourselves the KKK Group secretly. When we were ready to release our products, Ms. Eiko Ishioka came on board and developed a logotype for us called Ingot. The FRAME product line offered here is our third of such releases. The cross-sections were perfected after numerous modifications. While we have the potential to develop many types of structures, we decided to start by sticking to shelves and wagons.I hope to receive many orders and go on to create many other structures. Manufacturer: SHIBASAKI inc.* There is a lead time of about 1 month before delivery now.
